You’re likely experiencing ‘superficial’ blockage, so this method may be the best clogged toilet fix that you’re looking for. However, if your toilet has a more stubborn, deeper block inside the pipes, you might need to use a plunger or call your local plumber.

If you’re experiencing the more common toilet logjam, you need to start by grabbing a regular dishwashing liquid detergent and hot water. The first thing that you need to do is to place some towels around the toilet as this clogged toilet fix can get a bit messy. The next step is to add some dishwashing detergent to the slurry inside the bowl. After adding a generous amount of dishwashing liquid, slowly pour hot water into the toilet bowl.

You’ll need to wait for a few minutes to see any progress, so have a little bit of patience. When the water level gets lower, don’t try to use the flush, instead, slowly pour hot water again. After doing so, your toilet bowl is now fixed.
