Spokane radio station KYRS will host Cursive Wires and Harley White Jr. on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 8 p.m. at the Big Dipper.
Both Cursive Wires and Harley White Jr. have been busy in the recording studio recently, and each act is excited to share new material with the Spokane area.
Cursive Wires has only been playing for about three years, but they’ve already performed in venues such as the Knitting Factory and Jones Radiator. They were also a part of the Volume: Inlander Music Festival in 2014.
The band’s influences include the Rolling Stones and the Flying Burrito Brothers, but they have found their groove and put their own spin on the rock’n’roll/country hybrid genre.
For more about Cursive Wires, check out the band’s Facebook profile and SoundCloud page.
Harley White Jr. is originally from northern California and is the son of prominent bassist and educator Harley White. He lists the Beatles, Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan as his influences.
